How to Tell the Sex of a Bird

Until now I never fully understood how to tell, the difference Between Male and Female Birds.

 

I always thought it had to be determined surgically.

It can be done.

Actually, I believe it's easy in England. Aren't all birds women because it's a slang term?

 

 

BTW, on a serious note, supposedly, you can tell the sexes by things like colors, markings, physical size, calls, and shapes.

I know that with Peacocks the male has the colorful plumage.
