Hmm that's weird firmware to have on a Dell ND-3530A drive, their site only lists 103C and 104C firmware.

I changed the firmware to liggy & dees etc. If i change my firmware do i still require X2.4 disks?? Thanks again for your help

One hint if it will work or not is to insert the empty disc and use the Write mode of ImgBurn and see if there are any supported speeds listed.

Current Profile: DVD+R DL

Disc Information:

Sorry man, have had no joy so far, tried all 10 Verbatim at X2.4 using Imgburn AND cdcopy. 8 out of 10 disks didn't even start and the other 2 only got to 2%. I have seen that other people have had success with this drive after updating Firmware (Liggy & Dees3.01). Thanks to everyone for help but methinks a new burner is needed. D.
