fmfox Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Ok, I'm trying to burn an ISO file onto dvd+r and I'm receiving and error I/O message. I click try again and still this message shows. I am stuck at 98% Here is the Log file I 15:20:49 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I wish there was a fool proof way to do this with out making coasters. I've used these discs with other image burns but it seems that when I try to burn ISO's this happens. I'll have to order some verbatim's next time. Update: I tried it again with a new disc and it worked. I guess you win some, you lose some. Try 8x instead. Thanks for the tip the dvd+R played for a minute and then the disc could not be read. So I used maxwell dvd-r and wrote it at 8X speed and wola! I can play to my hearts desire and don't need to worry about my 2yr old destroying the original disc now that I have a backup! I'm still going to get verbatim dvd-r as I see a lot of people recommend it for its quality and reliabilty.
