switchwoo Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I just got ImgBurn and followed the instructions on how to burn a movie but it won't let me press the burn icon and says "Device Not Ready (Medium not Present - Tray Closed)." I am using a DVD+RW cd and my drive is a DVD/CD burning drive.. I don't know what I'm doing wring? Here's my log if that will help: I 03:24:49 ImgBurn Version 2.2.0.0 started! I 03:24:49 Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 03:24:49 Total Physical Memory: 915,944 KB - Available: 319,076 KB W 03:24:49 Drive D:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size. I 03:24:49 Initialising SPTI... I 03:24:49 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 03:24:49 Found 4 DVD-ROMs and 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 You drive isn't seeing the media... so it probably doesn't support it. Use some decent 'write once' stuff instead - i.e. Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Update ImgBurn too, you're way out of date.... where did you get such an old version?

Thanks for the help, I'll look those up. I bought it off of eBay, didn't know it was that old
