Shavit Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I have several CDs which were written on IBM T60 notebook, using Sonic DLA, but were not finalized, and I can't read some data on some systems. I tried to use ImgBurn to close the disks, using Tools - Drive - Close, but there was no sign that anything was done Earlier today, using V2.4.1.0, I had saved images to disc (with other errors). Now, after using Tools - Drive - Close, and upgrading to v2.4.2.0 I can no longer save image to disc. Q1. What is the right procedure to close a CD? Q2. What is the right procedure to prepare a new CD, with all the data on it available on all PCs? Disc data, and program log is provided herein ImgBurn Start I 00:07:32 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!I 00:07:32 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1)I 00:07:32 Total Physical Memory: 2,086,596 KB - Available: 815,080 KBW 00:07:32 Drive U:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.I 00:07:32 Initialising SPTI...I 00:07:32 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 00:07:32 Found 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 It seems to me that your drive just can't read the disc... unless you can find a drive that'll read it, you're probably out of luck.
