mmalves
I 22:11:03 Destination Device: [1:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N WP03 (H:) (ATA)I 22:11:03 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x) I 22:11:03 Write Speed: 1x Try burning at 4x or 6x to see if it works. You might also want to check with the laptop's manufacturer for a newer firmware for your burner. If it still fails, get Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Made in Singapore blanks and it should work. mmalves
I think a Pioneer DVR-116 in an external enclosure would work great for you
alecots
thats a internal burner right? i need a external. i heard lite-on is a good brand? ps. Where do you buy your verbatim singapore disc? i bought mine at the black market but they are from australia
LIGHTNING UK!
Notice he said 'in an external enclosure'. Internals and externals are the same drives, just one comes in an enclosure and one doesn't. You're free to pickup your own enclosure and put any 'internal' drive into it that you fancy.

bobrap
Just wanted to add to this thread that I'm getting the same error message (failed to set L0 data zone capacity). The reason I receive is "Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset Occurred". I'm using Verbatim 2.4x burning on a Lite-on LH-20A1p in Vista. Any help?
