jcleav Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 i posted on here a week or two ago and it was decided that my old dvd burner was toast, and i needed to get a new one. i got the new drive, but now i'm having different problems trying to burn... (see attached image for error message) even though this just happened 5 minutes ago (wednesday), my imgburn log doesn't have anything in it in the last week...so i don't have a log for this particular error. thanks! My case: Writer: Pioneer DVR-116L (FW 1.09) Media: Mitsubishi DVD+R DL (x2.4 - x8) Burn x2.4 => NG(same problem ) Burn x8 => Good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

According to some posts there should be a 1.01 firmware version for that writer (a rebadged ASUS). You may also want to try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get it to burn, but your media is low quality anyway.
