i posted on here a week or two ago and it was decided that my old dvd burner was toast, and i needed to get a new one. i got the new drive, but now i'm having different problems trying to burn...

(see attached image for error message)

even though this just happened 5 minutes ago (wednesday), my imgburn log doesn't have anything in it in the last week...so i don't have a log for this particular error.

thanks!

Hi! jcleav.

I had same problem.

You try burn at maximum speed supported by the media.

My case:

Writer: Pioneer DVR-116L (FW 1.09)

Media: Mitsubishi DVD+R DL (x2.4 - x8)

Burn x2.4 => NG(same problem )

Burn x8 => Good

I 11:00:15 ImgBurn Version 2.2.0.0 started!

I 11:18:30 Destination Device: [1:0:0] PIONEER DVR-113NP 1.00 (D:) (ATA)

I 11:18:30 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x)

I 11:18:30 Write Speed: 2.4x

Try the 1.01 firmware available in this page under the DVR-113KG series and maybe it works on your burner. You may also want to try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get it to burn, but your media is low quality anyway.

Also please update ImgBurn to the latest version as you're way behind :thumbup:
