cbacas
The maxwell dvd+r plays on the computer after the burn but not on the dvd player. Maybe it isn't finalizing the dvd?... the dvd player is asking me to initialize the dvd once inserted into the player, but that doesn't help anything. The burn does create the two folders video_ and audio_ . Any suggestions? Below is the log file from the burn. I 19:54:13 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK!
It burnt and verified ok so either your player doesn't like DVD+R at all or it doesn't like the low quality (CMC MAG-M01-00 dye) media you're using. We only recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden discs here. EDIT: Oops, too slow

I just wanted to make sure it has the high quality ink, etc. thanks, Chad

cbacas
I buy mine HERE. This may be a stupid question, but is there a big difference between the 8x and 16x? Probably for me since i've been burning at speeds less than 2x either will be a bid difference! thanks
Cynthia
The 8x rated are usually a bit cheaper and for older writers they seem to work better. If you are not going to burn above 8x - go for the 'cheapest'.
