LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Why would you stick to using a version that's known to be buggy?! 2.4.2.0 exists for a reason. If this problem isn't just a one off, try burning at the other available speeds. I 22:41:13 Source Media Type: DVD-R (Book Type: DVD-R) (Disc ID: SONY16D1) (Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x) If none of them work, try some better media - Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. If they don't work, try a cleaning disc on the drive. If it still doesn't work then, get yourself a new drive.
Kunio616 Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 Just re-did the burn and worked with the new version but I also tried 4x. Should I try 8x again whenever I go to burn something new or keep 4x?
Cynthia Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 If you get errors on 8x and 4x works - use the ones that works with those discs.
Kunio616 Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 No, 8x worked, or it did before. I only tried 4x because that might of been it but I doubt it if the author says the version I was using was so buggy.
Cynthia Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 W 22:31:16 Waiting for buffers to recover... Do you always get these warnings in the logs?
Kunio616 Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 I don't think so, but then again, I barely pay attention to the logs since it usually works 99.9% of the time ...why??
