I've been using imgburn for a little while now. works well. recently the program has been freezing after verification. i'm burning dvds. i thought it was my driver because it wouldn't spit out the dvd, but then i set the program to spit out the dvd and the program stilll freezes. everytime i have to then crash the laptop (plug out and pull battery) because nothing else will work from there, sometimes not even task manager. I'm using a brand new computer (only two months) and have over 100 gb of free space. i'm burning to dvd from an iso. is there a way to fix the problem?

What does it say in the status bar and log window when you say 'it freezes'.

There's always a reason for it and it's normally driver related.

Something about "treading"? or something like that. Sometimes "opening device" even though i already have the disc out. Some other things too but i can't really remember. Just froze now and said "opening device". this time i didnt have the disc and had to crash the computer to get the disc.

Terminating AutoInsert Thread...... That's what it says now that it froze again. This time i finished burning a dvd. took out the disk. selected a new iso. inserted a new blank dvd+r. it said devide not ready (medium not present). so i take out the disc. try close. and it freezes and says "terminating autoinsert thread". ?
