mackdaddy38 Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 I dont know what to say I use this program to burn dvd-r no problem The moment I put dvd+r in it just keeps counting time elapsed yet writes nothing to the disc then when i try to close it my comp freezes or stops responding. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 This actual cause of the 'hang' is probably a dodgy filter driver or old controller driver. If you want to try and fix it properly you can start by bringing up the filter drivers list via the option on the Tools menu and then copying to clipboard/pasting the info in a reply. Also, take a look in device manager under the ide ata/atapi controllers branch and write out exactly which devices are listed - or just get a screenshot.
