LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 The UDMA error is the important one. Try a new cable (as short as possible), update (or revert) your drivers. Try and get the controller out of RAID mode if you don't need it in it - optical drives do not like being on RAID controllers. Prodisc is still crappy media, use decent stuff if at all possible - 'decent' is anything Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alright cheers, i have a cheap 2 port SATA pci card laying around so I will try that. Prodisc is still crappy media, use decent stuff if at all possible - 'decent' is anything Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden.
