LIGHTNING UK!
Firmware update to YE05 - http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BE06LU10/files.html What BD-RE are you using there? Verbatim ones are the best, the one they supply (LG) is awful... incase that's what you're using. I would advise you to turn 'FastWrite' off and to reformat without spare areas. Hi, Thanks for the firmware update which i installed,i do have auto firmware update but it did'nt detect it.I used a Sony BD-RE DL 50GB for the "The Last Sumurai" and i also use a Panasonic BD-RE 50GB both recommended by LG for this drive,i would love to try a Verbatim BD-RE DL 50GB but do they exist? I live in the UK. I will try again to copy "The last Samurai" again with bd-re fastwrite off and the new firmware update for the drive, let you no how i get on.How do i reformat without spare areas? LIGHTNING UK!
Go into Tools -> Settings and look on the 'Write' tab. There you'll find a checkbox for spare areas. When you've done that you'll need to do another 'Full' erase/format on the disc.
