sorry guys if this has been posted before as just recent started getting this message ( Failed to lock volume for exclusive access.) whats up

thanks done that but can now only burn 1/4 way threw the disk then fails tried different makes off disks still the same

yes found some but cant rember what it was will try up load log also post fault on incompatiable Format as that what i seem to be reading from the log whoever be advised to keep to this thread

Even if it's in the early stage of the disc, the speed sounds very low.

 

See if DMA is still enabled. Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition seems to have a bad habit of falling into PIO mode compared to XP/Vista.

thanks will give that a look download new drives re booted back to origial fault used process explorer again same again note detector app 3464 seems to be stop things try new burn just now ops stop again another disc got to throw away sense area 70 and lots off double 00
