Hi Cynthia. Thanks for the welcome. I have an Intel 4 Series Express. I tried downloading the new firmware but it didn't help. I tried burning another disc and got this: I 16:55:13 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK!
If both 2.4x and 4x don't work, read post 2 again.
PaperKut
Thanks for the advice but post 2 doesn't help me cus I don't buy cheap media. I've been using memorex dvd+r dl's for a couple of weeks and they worked but now I haven't had a successful burn with the last 7 discs.
mmalves
Well, they aren't working now, are they? Couldn't you buy 5 Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) DVD+R DL blanks for testing? Alternatively you could get an external burner that can burn your precious Memorex blanks.
spinningwheel
cus I don't buy cheap media Memorex is crap....period...this batch was made using Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67 dye since the brand is simply rebadged from one manufacturer to sell as another brand, Do yourself a favor and try either Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs. Since it's DL you want Verbatim (Made in Singapore if at all possible since their other countries of origin are getting a bad reputation also. PaperKut
Thanks for the advice. I bought some Verbatim discs and burning has been perfect ever since.
