snake_chile
Hi: This is my problem: I bought my asus DRW-2014L1 recorder over a 3 weeks ago. It worked fine for the first two weeks, but now i can't burn any dvd dl. I burn the recorder because i wanted to make a copy of my games of xbox 360. (to protect the originals from scratches) My first backups worked fine (3), there was no problem. Yesterday i try to burn the Call of duty World At War with imgburn with the same settings that i burn the other backups (2.4x and Dvd Verbatim Dl). I used the layerbreak 1913760. In the burning process there was no error, but in the "verify" it stopped at 52%. When i put into the xbox 360 console, it says "the disc is very dirty or scratched" I try to burn it again with clone cd, and in the process there was no error, but when i put the backup in the xbox 360 console, i get the same message error "the disc is very dirty or scratched". Then i try to burn the game "Pure" again with image burn with a verbatim dl dvd, and in the burning process was no error, but in the verify it stopped again. This is an image from the error of "Pure" (The same at the first Cod waw) http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/1152/dibujocsn.png HELP PLEASE! Sorry if my english is bad, because i speak spanish. Cynthia
What is the common description of the error that imgburn gave to me? A reading error. The burned disc is in a condition that it can't be read. You could post the latest 'successful' burn. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs

Cynthia
If the Indian made Verbatims are of less quality I don't know as I can't find any of those DL discs around my place. I do know that the quality amongst spindles can vary. It's also possible that another speed like 4x; 6x; 8x could increase the quality of the burns. It's just a trial and error to find out that.
