No problems before with the same acme DVD + R DL disks on both devices. First time, it was just frozen after trying to retry: I 21:49:33 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! That's why I made this thread - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Buying a certain brand doesn't mean you'll get the same dye each time (verbatim / taiyo yuden are the exception). As for the 2nd drive, that's a USB chipset / controller / enclosure combo problem. You can google search for 'The semaphore timeout period has expired' and read loads of junk about it if you so wish.
