Notice that you only need to do it once, when the media is brand new, and it takes quite a lot of time (it's normal). After that just overwrite the data (no need to quick erase or anything). Then erased it fully. It took about 48 Min 3. When trying to re write its asking formatting required. Is it clear now? Also let me know if all the Discs are required to format first before writing first time when its brand new ?
