I have been using Memorex BD-R 25GB and Memorex BD-RE25GB along with Verbatim BD-R 25GB amd Verbatim BD-R 50GB. For the longest I have had no problems burning the ISO Images to disk via Imageburn. I have burned 100 disc with the 2 manufacturers previously mentioned until as of late. I try to burn my ISO images to disk I get Tracking servo error, I try to burn Files to disc, Tracking servo error. Please help! The majority of all my movies are a combination of Memorex and Verbatim.

When I burn an ISO image using a Memorex BD-RE the movie burns just fine, but with a BD-R I keep getting Track Servo Failure. I have never had a problem with any Blu-ray at all until now.

Do the Verbatim BD-R fail too?

As a last resort, try cleaning the drive.

Exactly, the Verbatim BD-R fails to burn as well, If the drive is could be dirty as you have mentioned why are the BD-RE's working and the BD-R is not? And how do I clean the drive?

If you want to take it apart and clean it with a cotton bud/alcohol or similar then that's up to you.

Don't forget that you'll probably void any warranty on it if you do that.

Well is there an another option?

One , more question. If it writes a BD-RE just fine and I get no write errors and the lens is dirty as you might suggest and I only get write errors with a BD-R are you saying thats the cause of a dirty lens? Dirty lenses cause a good write on some discs and not on others? So it is not a Hardware problem and did you read my log provided?

I'm not an expert in the effects of dust/dirt on the lense of a Blu-ray optical drive.

All I know is that it's not burning and you want it to.

As such, you have to just perform basic drive diagnostics...

1. Try different media - Done.

2. Try the drive in a different PC - N/A

3. Try cleaning the drive - Not Done

4. Talk to the manufacturer about the problem - Not Done

Oh and yes of course I read your log. It didn't show you burning Verbatim BD-R or BD-RE but it did show the drive failing to burn RITEK BD-R and BD-RE.
