The is only if i have a DL DVD in my drive..... If i have a normal DVD it detects my drive, and after i put a DL DVD in it acts as if another program is using it prevents IMGBURN from using it...anyone know what to do? I had Nero and DVD Suite w.e that is but that was on the CD that came with my DVD Drive, and i know my DVD Drive can burn DL DVD's, and i believe i tried to uninstall them but still a no go. LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 It's just the translation to the error code Windows is reporting when ImgBurn tries to access the drive. The error code is 1381 = ERROR_TOO_MANY_SECRETS I have no idea why the OS would be reporting that but let's hope you can track down whatever's causing it. Windoze then completely locks the drive and throws out that error. When I last encountered it, it was caused by some Vista Sidebar gadget. Normally this error should only pop up on a Windows Version where US Export Restrictions apply. On those you can only encrypt 4096 files per drive. If exceeded, this error pops up. The thing is that if i have a normal DVD in the drive when i boot up my computer if finds my drive and its fine, but if i put a DL DVD it gives me that error after i hit burn, ive tried unlocker and process explorer they both find nothing else that is using my disk drive, either i uninstalled the wrong drivers a while ago when i was tryin to uninstall a virtual drive manually or there is a bug in the program....but idk, im about to just save whatever i need and go and format my HDD and reinstall windows EDIT: I just realized that this error only comes up when its a Blank DL DVD in my drive, if it has somethin on the DVD it finds my drive perfectly fine EDIT2: I 13:58:42 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!
