galacticninja Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 I have recently switched the CD/DVD drive emulation software I use to Virtual CloneDrive because of possible CD/DVD burning issues with Daemon Tools ( http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=11238 ), I had backups of copy-protected CDs in .MDS ( Alcohol 120% media descriptor file - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDS_file ) and .MDF formats which I would like to mount to a virtual drive but Virtual CloneDrive does not support them. Is there a way to convert MDS files ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDS_file ) to a format that can be read by Virtual CloneDrive ? Also, is there an equivalent media descriptor file format for ISO, CCD or any image format that Virtual CloneDrive supports?
