MestreRick
Hey everyone! I’m trying to burn a XGD3 image to DVD DL but I having problems. I use a Lite-on (ATAPI iHAS524 B AL2A) with a USB SATA CONVERTER in my notebook. I’ve already burned more than 100 DVDs with this my DVD recorder. Last week, when I was trying to burn, I get an I/O error “Invalid Address For Write”. I retry burn the same image but always get error on 49%. I did a test and tried to burn with the DVD Lite-On connected in another computer but the problem persists. Last Saturday I could burn a DVD+DL image successfully, but It wasn’t a XGD3 image. Do you have any idea what it could be? ; //****************************************\\; ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 - Log; domingo, 30 novembro 2014, 21:04:19; \\****************************************//;;I 20:36:26 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!I 20:36:26 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (6.1, Build 7601 : Service Pack 1)I 20:36:26 Total Physical Memory: 2.087.352 KiB - Available: 1.159.892 KiBI 20:36:26 Initialising SPTI...I 20:36:26 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 20:36:27 -> Drive 1 - Info: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7530B NX09 (E:) (ATA)I 20:36:27 -> Drive 2 - Info: ATAPI iHAS524 B AL2A (G:) (USB 2.0)I 20:36:27 Found 2 DVD±RW/RAMs!I 20:36:45 Operation Started!I 20:36:45 Source File: D:\Call.Of.Duty.Advanced.Warfare.XBOX360-iMARS\DVD1\imars.codaw.360a.dvdI 20:36:45 Source File Sectors: 4.267.015 (MODE1/2048)I 20:36:45 Source File Size: 8.738.846.720 bytesI 20:36:45 Source File Volume Identifier: DVD_ROMI 20:36:45 Source File Volume Set Identifier: fb118000MS UDFBridgeI 20:36:45 Source File Application Identifier: CDIMAGE 2.45 (12/06/2000 TM)I 20:36:45 Source File Implementation Identifier: Microsoft CDIMAGE UDFI 20:36:45 Source File File System(s): ISO9660; UDF (1.50)I 20:36:45 Destination Device: [0:0:0] ATAPI iHAS524 B AL2A (G:) (USB)I 20:36:45 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: UMEDISC-DL1-64)I 20:36:45 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 2,4xI 20:36:45 Destination Media Sectors: 4.267.040I 20:36:45 Destination Media L0 Data Zone Capacity: 2.133.520 (Changeable: Yes)I 20:36:45 Write Mode: DVDI 20:36:45 Write Type: DAOI 20:36:45 Write Speed: 2,4xI 20:36:45 DVD+R DL Reserve Track: NoI 20:36:45 Link Size: AutoI 20:36:45 Lock Volume: YesI 20:36:45 Test Mode: NoI 20:36:45 OPC: YesI 20:36:45 BURN-Proof: DisabledI 20:36:46 Write Speed Successfully Set! - Effective: 3.324 KB/s (2,4x)I 20:36:46 Book Type Setting: DVD-ROMI 20:36:46 Advanced Settings - Force HT: Yes, Online HT: No, OverSpeed: No, SmartBurn: YesI 20:36:46 CD/DVD Life Record Count: 181 - CD/DVD Record Count: 7I 20:37:26 Optimal L0 Data Zone Capacity: 2.133.520I 20:37:26 Optimal L0 Data Zone Method: Copied From Original DiscW 20:37:26 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter ListI 20:37:26 L0 Data Zone Capacity - Effective: 2.133.520I 20:37:27 Filling Buffer... LIGHTNING UK!
You're using rubbish 'UME' discs. Buy the Verbatim MKM-003-00 ones that everywhere tells you to use.
dbminter
I was thinking the same thing, that UME discs might be junk. I wasn't sure, though, as I'm not as familiar with UME as say the demon worshipers known as CMC!
