  1. Long changelog, great program: thank you LIGHTNING UK! and all those who tested (helped improve) ImgBurn.
  2. That is what I meant! This post of mine is so stupid, from the beginning. LIGHTNING UK! has thought about everything, what was I thinking?! Thanks LOCOENG...
  3. I was creating an image from a folder, and in the dialog 'Confirm Volume Label' there is this option: "Use current date and time". I pressed it once, and the time was set correctly in the volume label. I pressed it another time, and it didn't change. 1. Why is that? 2. e.x. "20080728_2227" - is it possible to change this kind of format?
  4. You should switch to 'Write' or 'Build' mode to view it.
  5. I am trying to check for an update for my drive: MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-841S 1.60 (ATA) but I don't get any results, and I just see a forum instead of the update. Even the Search option in the forum doesn't show anything for my drive model. rpc1.org has changed. Now the "Firmware Update" feature in ImgBurn seems a bit useless. Or am I doing something wrong?
  6. OK, at first I thought you replied to "Where are the flying men?", so AF could stand for Air Force; edit: Strange! AF can be everything, except April Fool according to this online dictionary: http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/AF .
  7. I just downloaded it; I liked it! Thank you LIGHTNING UK!
  8. What do you mean? Air Force?
  9. - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...npenguin101.xml - Were are the flying men?!!! LOL
  10. I understand! Just if anyone else there is interested to see how a drive can lie, lol, I made two final tests and still the Cue-s don't match (but now in TRACK 04 AUDIO), so my drive has something to do here. One is TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 61:43:07 INDEX 01 61:44:16 The other is TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 61:42:16 INDEX 01 61:44:16 Thank you all for the help...
  11. Thanks to you, mmalves, Cynthia, and LIGHTNING UK! ! When mounting with Daemon Tools I can see the main track and the audio tracks in ImgBurn. However, now my only concern is about the drive, and it's accuracy. What about some of my questions above (edit, where can I find some other info on these two image formats, are these formats good for backing up my actual CD)?
  12. Daemon Tools was my favorite before. But since they introduced that toolbar and some bugs which conflicted with my PC, I uninstalled it. But let's see what happens; I am downloading it now. Regarding the images above: Which one is more correct? The one with "INDEX 00 56:30:26" or the one with "INDEX 00 56:28:57"?
  13. Hi LIGHTNING UK! Of course I used the same drive for reading the CD, and that's why I posted here: how is it possible to have two different results with the same drive, with the same CD, but with different image formats? Does this mean that my drive may some other times not be accurate, e.x. when copying or burning? I mounted both the images in Virtual CloneDrive (by elby) and when I looked at them in ImgBurn there were no AUDIO tracks. Why is that? In the Cue there are certainly AUDIO tracks.
  14. I created an image of a CD (game, for testing purposes only, lol) I own, and since I am new to these image formats (bin, img) I tried to compare them. And the results I am going to show you are different. So: This is the CD information: MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-841S 1.60 (ATA) Current Profile: CD-ROM Disc Information: Status: Complete Erasable: No Sessions: 1 Sectors: 288,502 Size: 590,852,096 bytes Time: 64:08:52 (MM:SS:FF) TOC Information: Sesion 1... -> Track 01 (Mode 1, LBA: 0 - 254306) -> Track 02 (Audio, 03:06:61, LBA: 254307 - 268317) -> Track 03 (Audio, 02:06:48, LBA: 268318 - 277815) -> Track 04 (Audio, 02:22:36, LBA: 277816 - 288501) -> LeadOut (LBA: 288502) ATIP Information: Start Time of LeadIn (MID): 97m28s22f Last Possible Start Time of LeadOut: 74m20s01f This is the Cue file for .BIN. FILE "B.....T.bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 00 56:30:26 INDEX 01 56:30:57 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 59:35:43 INDEX 01 59:37:43 TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 61:42:16 INDEX 01 61:44:16 This is the Cue file for .IMG. FILE "B.....T.img" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 00 56:28:57 INDEX 01 56:30:57 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 59:35:43 INDEX 01 59:37:43 TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 61:42:16 INDEX 01 61:44:16 In Track 02, the INDEX 00 is not the same. My question is, which of these ones (.BIN or .IMG) is closer to the original CD? Then, 1. Please tell me where can I find some further info on these two formats? 2. The CD contains many tracks. Does this mean the CD is protected (just by looking at the tracks, and that it is a Game)?
  15. Hi, thanks, I knew that page, but I don't go there too often, maybe because I haven't had any problems up to now; so good to see you giving feedback to all those media! Great...
  16. , beautiful pictures, cynthia. Thank you...
  17. So, this turned a bit like a funny topic, . I have seen most of the BTM-s give an opinion on my topic, however, as far as I know the members of this forum, there are two or three others which haven't replied yet. I am very satisfied by yours, btw.
  18. huhuuu, I am so amazed by your work...
  19. Thank you for replying! I am taking your answer as very serious, dontasciime, and the only thing I can say is: wooow!!! I opened this topic because I am not a software developer or tester or anything else which links to softwares (except one thing). It is good to know how much materials are wasted to achieve one only goal; on the other hand, your efforts are clearly rewarded.
  20. Am I the only one interested in this question, lol: How many CDs/DVDs do You (LIGHTNING UK! and Beta Team Members) spend before releasing a new version or just for testing purposes?
  21. I know that ImgBurn logs all burns and other processes which follow the burning in general. However, what I would like to know is: is there any way to make this logging more detailed? By "detailed" I mean including the 'file name' or the 'folder name' I am burning; if it is a Data CD, an Audio CD, an MP3 CD etc. I don't want to seem like a paranoid here, because I am just forwarding a topic of a certain other forum where the answers are not very clear. If ImgBurn can't do this, can you suggest me another software which has these options, or another possible way?
  22. No! Really?! Then maybe is my laptop screen which shows these little artifacts of the windows at some certain viewing angle, because I said that at first I didn't notice them too, but then it happened that I turned a bit down my screen and there they were. EDIT @ dontasciime What is that skin?! EDIT Now I finally understand! Before I was using the Windows Media Center skin, because that's my OS. Now I just turned to the default Windows XP skin, and Classical also, and the borders weren't there anymore. So this is just a Microsoft skin problem, if I were to blame them. Thank you for helping!!!
