Can't burn ISO to playable DVD

Hi,

I've used Imgburn before successfully but now feel pretty dumb regarding this new task I'm trying. I have an ISO image file that I'm trying to burn to a playable DVD, and have tried it twice using Write, but both times Imgburn just copies the ISO file, and it's not playable. I've searched here for similar problems but not found it yet, and am following the guides step by step. Must be missing something basic...

Thanks for help,

Eric

By "not playable" I mean in my household DVD player--that's what I'm aiming for.

Winrar shows that what's inside is a large .vob file.

well thats not good then...

when u have an AVI movie that you want to play on your home dvd player,

just convert your AVI movie to DVD-Video format by using

freeware --> DVDFlick (which does the burning to using ImgBurn from within)

Payware --> ConvertXtoDVD (which i use and also does the burning)

that being said, where did that ISO come from?

did u make it?

or did u downloaded it like that?

anyhow,

u can always extract the big VOB file from there

then import it in ConvertXtoDVD

and convert it to DVD-Video Format
