It wouldn't normally pick that folder if it doesn't have permission to write to it. Most of the time (on a modern OS) it would pick the documents folder.
-
Where are you changing it? You do it on the Device tab if you're in Build mode.

You need to ask such questions on an Xbox forum dealing with such things. -
Just drag and drop it or use the 'browse for folder' button. You can't pick a folder when browsing for files, the Microsoft dialog box simply doesn't allow for it, hence why there are two buttons... One for files and another for folders.
-
Are those files not in a VIDEO_TS folder? Just add that folder instead of the files. It'll see the folder name and know it's a DVD Video disc. Those rouge files will then be filtered out.

I don't believe you have a disc problem anymore. It's clearly burning ok and your burner can at least read it without a problem. You need to explore other avenues now. -
You must have something wrong or it would be working. I don't have enough info to go on. Reset the settings to their default values - it's a clickable option on one of the tabs when you're in build mode.

Did you do anything it says in that topic? Clean the drive, try discs with a different/ better mid/dye etc. ? Maybe your drive has just had it.

Your console has been modified to play backups yeah? The problem can only lie with your source image being incorrect or the playback device. -
If the disc burns and verifies ok, it's 100% readable in the drive that wrote it. I'm afraid there's nothing more to really say about that. Swap the dos machine's drive out for a different one and / or try some different discs. It may also be worth trying the dos machine's drive in your Windows PC to see what's really happening when you put one of your new burnt discs in it.

Read the pinned topic on burning double layer discs. I'm afraid there's no magic fix.

You seem to have turned off the verify stage. Please turn it back on or I can see if the burnt disc is actually readable. You can turn burnproof back on and leave 'perform opc before write' disabled. -

The log is saved automatically. You can access it via the help menu. All we are concerned with is getting it to burn and verify. Playback issues are down to your playback device or the source file. -

Let me see the burn + verify log from that attempt please. -
Adjust the write speed down a bit - to 8x. Maybe the reader in the dos machine isn't as good as your burner in that one.

I don't have it either. Someone at myce will provide it if you ask in the forum. -

I already told you which drive in my initial response. A quick Google and I'm sure you'll locate a suitable bin file... probably at the myce forums I mentioned. -

Payload working doesn't really mean anything. To cross flash, you'll need a firmware bin file for the drive you're cross flashing to and the firmware flashing tool from the myce.com forums. They're the experts at this stuff so it's probably worth having a look at them. -

Maybe try cross flashing the drive to the liteon that it is (possibly an 'ihas224 A') and ensure you then put the latest liteon firmware on it. Then configure the various drive settings and try again. If it doesn't work, get yourself another drive. -
Can you please post the disc info from the box on the right and also take a screenshot of the media info screen (accessed via the button in the 'source' box). Thanks

It's just trying to read the sectors that make up the 2nd track, but your drive can't do it. I doubt I've got a video cd to test with... and even then, mine might be different. I thought they usually had 2 tracks. The first is form 1 and has the filesystem stuff in it, the 2nd is basically just the raw video file - and uses form2 so as to have more space for the data and sacrifices error correction stuff.

Are there plans to make a Mac version of ImgBurn?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to tjinperspective's topic in ImgBurn General
There aren't, no. I'm purely a PC guy. Sorry! -
