  1. Does the AutoPlay window come up when you insert the disc? Other disc with autorun works? Try one of the Drivers disc from motherboard or something. Try fixing Autorun problems with FixIt http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967715 Oh, if you have some other disc burning programs can interfer with this. Easy CD Creator is one of them.
  2. Are you sure autorun.inf is "as is" not autorun.inf.txt? Windows default is to hide the file extension. So if you created the file in Windows with extensions hidden you might get with autorun.inf.txt. How is it look the icon of the file? Does it look like a gear on a page? Can you post a pic with them?
  3. As I understand Avidemux will use I-frames to cut so it's not what you want as it's not frame accurate when you are not reencoding. (SmartCopy) I think you should insist with Virtualdub and AviSynth, just need to fiind the correct filter that allows you to work with your file.
  4. Do you have Autorun enabled in the system for that drive? Assuming the autorun inf is correctly made and ask for setup.exe/install.exe or how you name the starter file it shoild work.
  5. Try with the img file. That is the actual image of the disc. If you are using a laptop drive to burn the disc you have to manualy push back the tray for the verify part.
  6. No. That's the way an Audio CD looks in Explorer. If the original disc had CD Text on it you only see it in a car CD player that have support for reading the text. If you play it in Winamp or Windows Media Player you need a plugin for CD Text.
  7. If you want it for archive use Write files/folders to disc. See the Guides section. If you want it to play on standard DVD player use DVD Flick or DVD Styler to turn the file into a standard DVD Video compliant folder than burn it to disc.
  8. DVD Flick or DVD Styler should do the trick.
  9. Even if you select 2.4x the drive can't burn the disc at that speed so it'll use the closest speead available. Since only 4x, 6x, 8x are supported, pick one of it. There's a newer firmware out that may improve the writing on that media. Try all the speeds available. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS424%2BB/files.html Get some better media. Verbatim MKM are recommended. Always verify your burns.
  10. Look in Help menu for saved log files.
  11. Try Avidemux http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/
  12. Does this help? http://club.myce.com/f32/guide-combining-dvd-videos-into-blu-ray-331859/
  13. Why don't you use AviSynth as frameserver for VirtualDub? http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Avisynth You don't need to convert temporary to other format to use it in VirtualDub. http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/225793-How-to-open-MP4-MKV-WMV-RM-MOV-OGM-with-any-editor-encoder
  14. Read the pink box above and post a log.
  15. ImgBurn will do the burn part. You need to provide the correct set of files to burn a DVD Video. ImgBurn will not transcode your files that's why you need to use other programs. We help you with ImgBurn related problems. Your problems is not with ImgBurn. So, please go to their forum and ask your questions there. Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas to all.
  18. It's not much to explain for DVD Flick. You just import the file, set the target size and the program will take care of the rest. The program can do all the conversion and burn in one step using ImgBurn. I'll do it in two steps, first the conversion than burn the result with ImgBurn if all is right. You can fiind guides on their page for all operations with DVD Flick. If you can't manage with the guides, head to their forum for more help and support.
  19. There's a new firmware update for your LG BD http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH14NS40/files.html Other than that try some Verbatims.
  20. No. That's why I suggested the RW method
  21. As decribed here, 430N RHB it's a media center that can play those three formats. WMA and MP3 are audio and JPG is picture. http://www.chrysler.com/en/owners/quality/rhb/ It doesn't specify other formats supported but if you play the bought DVD's in it than it sure supports DVD Video http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Video DVD Flick will do the work to transcode your avi and mkv to the DVD Video specification. Maybe you are not following the correct tutorial. Here's a guide http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/4632-how-to-write-dvd-video-files-directly-to-single-layer-media-using-imgburn/
  22. Use a RW disc than make the image (bin/cue) from it. There's no way to save Audio CD to ISO. Audio CD don't fall into ISO format.

    Introduction

Welcome on the forum. New users have some limitations for start due to the spam security. You can start your own thread though. You can always opt out what the installer offers. Even if it's greyed out, you can still click it. That will be fixed probably in the next version. Enjoy the forum.
  24. Both your drive do the same? If you don't own a cleaner disc or can't borrow one from friends, you better get a new drive. Chances are the drive still not work after the cleaning so you have to scratch your pockets again. Save your money and buy a new drive. They are really cheap this days.
