Change to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. What you are using is rubbish and you should be using +R for DVD movies anyway.

Drag the top folder onto the drop zone icon in build mode. Pop in a disc and press the green button.

I figured the media wasn't the problem since I've had countless successful burns before. In any case, thanks for the help and for being so nice. Maybe when people don't really know how to troubleshoot they always blame the discs.
You figured wrong. Now take some advice or don't bother posting if you know it all already.

I'm sorry, but what has this got to do with ImgBurn? And how is it a bug of ImgBurn?
Surely, it is an error in DVD Flick - probably one of the settings you have used. Go to the DVD Flick forums and see if they can help you.
Anyway, those so called "horrible back lines" are showing that the picture is auto letterboxed - which is a good thing as you get to see the whole video and not some chopped off section like what happens in Pan and Scan.

Well, it obviously IS mastered to fit on a disc - even if it doesn't use layer 1 - so you may have found a little error in the 2nd message.

Try to get Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore in future.
In the meantime, you have burned a disc already - as the boss says, scan it (use DVD Info Pro or Ner0 CDSpeed). Don't be frightened if the PIEs increase on layer 1. Probably the best scan speed for a DL is 4x.

What about the title of thread? zwooky, it shoud be "My drive can't burn these cheap blanks any more" with the sub-title, "I haven't searched to find out what good discs to buy".
