Pioneers are notably some of the worst scanning drives there are and the data that comes from DVDInfoPro or CD Speed should really be taken with a grain of salt...your QS of 86% would probably much higher using another drive such as Lite-On, Samsung, NEC or BenQ. If your firmware is current and your are quality discs, which you are, the results you are getting should be just fine.

I have a JVC HDD camcorder and use DVD Flick to encode if there isn't any fancy editing to do and then use Imgburn to burn...they come out loverly. And since the HDD is recognized as just that in My Computer I can work straight from it without having to capture anything first.

I suspect it has nothing to do with Imgburn...but what format is the file in now?
Still an ISO?

The Lite-On you listed should be a pretty good drive. The new Samsungs, Pioneers and LG's are also strong contenders. I think the current Pioneers are 112D's and Blu should be able to give good insight on a good LG. Stay away from Sony, memorex & HP...they are typically rebranded drives from the manufacturers listed above with a slight premium in price added.
A cheap and reliable source would be http://www.newegg.com

I do believe you should be able to select the MDS file and will instruct Imgburn how to burn your multiple images with no need for conversion to NTFS...although as Blu stated the switch should be quick and painless.

You are very welcome...happy burning!

open Imgburn in Write mode and select your new ISO file and burn it to disc.

A new drive costs about as much as a spindle of discs...the good ones are pretty cheap anymore.

I know...I just we had things falling off the back of lorries like you lads do over there.

I agree with spinner...you will have to use another application to separate the files out like you want them before you burn the result with Imgburn. I would think a program such as PgcEdit or VobBlanker would come in handy for this task. There are other ways, but as spinner eluded to we can't/won't discuss them here.

I used to just take drive apart get some lense cleaning cloth and isoprol alcohol and clean it that way, too much hassle with some drives though
Sounds like a warranty voider as well...

Add Pan's Labrynth to Blu's list...also make sure you aren't removing the audio at some point in your process.

I can't stop watching the latest addition to your sig lfc...very nice.

Yep...it is an older drive, fortunately my 3540a is still chugging along.

You can get an excellent drive for $30-$40 at Newegg.com...Lite-On, Pioneer, LG & Samsung are pretty strong right now, but check out the thread link to see which models to go for.

I started to give that link, but didn't think it was the problem...glad you got it sorted.

You people keep thinking that this is something I made for all of you to use yourselves, which it is NOT.
So would you like LUK to 'pimp' this program beside his own on this site and label them...Imgburn- (for those who know what they are doing) and Simpleburn - (For those who have trouble turning the PC on).
I think if someone has a problem with the interface it is as Blu so eloquently stated, they are too lazy to open their eyes.
