  2. I managed to open my can of beans with you help but now my pan is not recognising them. I have tried them in a few pans with the same result. Will have to buy a new set Had to eat them cold out the can. I tried to get a log but it was just a mess. thanks all
  3. Could have sworn I wished you happy birthday already. Anyways
  4. You mean I have to sit through another movie, D.H 4.0 was supposed to be the last.
  5. I'm trying to open a can of beans but it appears the cogs have worn out. Anything you can do to help. Also ne1 know why my pen just stopped working. Thanks
  6. The search button knows why. ImgBurn cannot decrypt dvd's. It is a burning tool not a ripping tool. It can read unprotected dvd's only.
  7. are you just using xp pro or is it service pack 1 or service pack 2 try another usb port and if same then try another usb cable failing that you may not have drivers in to set agp/gart/ide/etc edit forgot you posted log, xp home service pack 2 do not forget to udpate firmware either when you get sorted also my screenshots were from 2 different computers and the description in device manager can vary so do not wory about the usb2 as long as their is enhanced listed.
  8. I would def be getting a bios update for your mobo, after updating clear cmos so DMI can update f5 defaults then set up to your taste, I would then boot and see how vista responds, though i would be installing vista again. Maybe check your memory as well with memtest. Do try you older gfx card again though.
  9. for dual core you would need to be using apic with mps support. so you will have wrong hal if you have these disabled in bios What is listed under device manager for computer config and how many irq's is your system using.
  10. Also look like the wrong HAL is in.
  11. have you got mps or apic set in your bios to run 2 core cpu
  12. Have you got a power cable going to the gfx card. A 410watt psu seems a bit low nowadays , depends on the hardware you have in but if its an amd 64 CPU say/ the gfx card you have a couple of hard drives a few fans DVD writer / DVD reader and you psu has less than 20amps on the 12v line, tbh less than 24 amp you could run into this trouble with mouse crawling etc, Especially if you have to power gfx card with extra molex from psu. I would also check all power cables and ide cables
  13. Still looks like usb 1 If that is usb 2 then something has gone horribly wrong. look in device manager under universal serial bus controllers. Look for Enhanced
  14. This was my one foray into overclocking. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=117954
  15. 112 should be OK for verb dual layer and 360 Not sure if that drive still has issues burning Cd's My pioneer 111 is ok for 360
  16. If your laptop is only usb1 then as said above it will be slow only thing you can do is to consider buying one of these http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll...tle=pcmcia+usb2
  17. The 3800+ attraction is clear to see, no denying it is a capable overclocker. The 6000+ I could actually get up to 3400mhz after seeing a few other people do same, therefore I think I may boost it a little to 3100 or 3200 and achieve this easily on my m2n32-sli Deluxe as It's a very capable O'C board. http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=331906 have this CPU for
  18. Any of the files system or hidden files
