All mirror downloads getting flagged and removed
Ch3vr0n replied to Mr Omnipotent's topic in ImgBurn Support
Going by the _DLM in the file manager, he clicked on an advertisement on the DL mirror and got served a download manager that would then download itself. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk -
No, because the plug-in offering promotions is present in the source (mirror 7 too). The other mirrors often put their own wrappers on top of it. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

No, protection is done at the authoring level, not at the burn level (imgburn) Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

You have to think 'blu-ray' 135min is over 2h movie. Most movies are barely 90min and they put em on BD50's and fill them with extras Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Don't think I'll run out of my new stock any time soon. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

That's the same style packaging like the good stuff, but clearly marked life series yes. Didn't show up for me. Avoid live the plague. Ordered me 300 BD25's too just over a week ago. Proper MID Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

First one does work for me, not the second. but only shows the good stuff. No life series anywhere. You're links are probably showing results based on location of the person accessing the link. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

That link doesn't work, and the purple and white are the good stuff. I ordered 1000 of DVD+r a little while ago, the proper mid, and the usual purple/blue packaging with white text Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Then you've been sorely misguided. He stated there's been numerous new implementations ready for the next release. There's also the fact that people have personal lives, people don't live and breath code. Feel free to find a different solution. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Dead = not working. Imgburn works just fine on windows 10. Just because it hasn't seen an update on a while doesn't mean it's dead Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Problems with "Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Write Error"
Ch3vr0n replied to Filippo's topic in ImgBurn Support
They're BRANDED verbatim but made by CMC magnetics. The MID doesn't like. Verbatim outsources some of it's production to CMC (and now even more, considering they bought the brand). They are verbatim yes but they're the cheap quality (life series) kind. You need the 'datalife plus' ones usually only available online. You're just new to this, us experienced users know what to look for. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk -
I'd release it this month tbh. Would be a excellent new year's present, and stop all those topics about 'imgburn is dead?' Pretty please? With a cherry on top? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

That only applies to bd-re and formatting with spare areas would give you even less than 22.3GB. You cannot go over that regardless of what you do. The disc won't allow it Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
-
Maxed out a 25GB disc in reality only holds 22.3 this because disc (and that applies to both optical discs and hard drives) manufacturers count on multiples of 1000. Eg 1MB is 1000 bytes (while in reality is not), 1GB : 1000 MB etc... However the operating system calculates things differently. It's based on multiples of 2 in the binary system. 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024... 1MB actually 1024bytes, 1GB is 1024MB. Due to the repeated 'loss' of that 24 there's a difference. It's the same reason why a 1TB hdd isn't showing as 1024GB in windows but as 978 or something. Perfectly normal. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Havent had to do that in a while. But figured i'd give it a shot. I use acronis weekly and manually do a macrium every 2-4 weeks. But glad it's working out for you. I figured i had nothin to lose Used it a few times now, hasn't let me down yet. I will say, it's a lot easier to use main interface, but perhaps a bit "too simple" for tech savvy ppl like me ^^. Thought i'd give it a try for a year then see.

Unless you're doing specific stuff the default windows one is decent. But if you're online a lot, banking stuff and more a paid one is best. I like Avast internet security Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

ZA? now there's something I haven't heard in years. Really? Even back in the day under XP I couldn't get that crap working properly Using Avast internet security here. Swapped to acronis last September as I could get a 3pc license for around €40 I think with a coupon. Figured I'd give it a try as it sure as hell was a lot cheaper than a 3pc macrium one. Your Norton is bad and flagging the setup which includes an advertisement dll as malware. The site and program are fine. Norton hasn't been anything but bloatware since 2004. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

DisplayPort is relatively new and some see it as the successor to HDMI (for PC) at least. It may not be known to you, but it's not some obscure port. It's been around for a few years now and is relatively common. And dvi to HDMI exist, as well as dvi to DisplayPort. Don't cost a fortune and work fine, but if your monitor has an HDMI port itself, I'd go HDMI to HDMI obviously. What's your existing monitor model? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I have, afaik the professional ones are only in BD format, can't say I remember getting them in DVD. The most visible different is that there's no VERBATIM branding or barcode stuff on the inner plastic circle on the professional ones. Something that is visible on the standard datalife plus ones. The MID is the same Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

How do I change all folders and files from UPPERCASE to lowercase?
Ch3vr0n replied to acidburn's topic in ImgBurn Support
Deselecting means EXCLUDING them from the outside output. It does NOT mean it'll convert INSERTFOLDERNAME to insertfoldername. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk -
I do regularly design websites and as such often give them a complete overhaul, working on one right now. That said, while doing that I first look at the menu structure and how it's setup. Unless client then specifically said not to, I keep that same menu structure in the new site. Doing so, while the site will physically LOOK different, navigating it will be exactly the same. (Although the position of the menu itself may have changed, but once you know the new location everything remains as is) Doing it that way, for me, gives the client a fresh new look while not getting flooded with contact requests by visitors with queries like 'item xxx used to be at location yyy, now I can't find it anymore. Where's the new location zzz on this new website). Doesn't turn away visitors that way. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Care to post the full different specs? But it's 5400RPM (•‿•), Why did they even use that in the first place. That's laptop type speed back in the day. More profit for them I guess. But Intel uhd an upgrade? Depends on the Nvidia card that wax in the system. No Intel uhd built in professor can compete with an equal generation discrete graphics card. Problems with "Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Write Error"
Ch3vr0n replied to Filippo's topic in ImgBurn Support
Your first problem is 'outsourced' ''fake'' verbatim's CMCMAG-BA5-000 Your 2nd problem is that you're using LTH type discs. That technology only lasted a short while in production but wax quickly abandoned by most blank/drive manufacturers and hasn't been produced for years now. Get the good ones 'datalife plus' you can only find online, and NOT the LTH ones Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
