On Starter - unless its changed - you can only have 3 apps running at one time - but you would get a pop up saying if you tried to open a forth...

The two times I've had problems with programs not opening on Win7 (not Ingburn), one was caused by the malware program super-antispyware blocking the prog and the second was UAC issues. Even when logged on as admin.
Have you tried LG for answers?

Just burned some camcorder AVCHD home movies to Dvd +RW at 1080/50 just to try it. I usually save to HHD. Didn't run it through Premiere CS5 though.
Burned, verified and played back on the pc with vlc fine - even with crap +RW.
It even played on the ps3
A frame rate of 24 seems very low to me...

Reading through the link it looks like a very badly written law to me - subject to too much interpretation. America's now gonna be full of film students or professors.
Jailbreaking Apple devices is now leagal but not allowed in the EULA. Strange. Without the suport of law how can the EULA be enforced?

Just making the point that a lot of devices are going to be touchscreen only or have touchscreen ability or voice activation and point and click with a mouse could go the way of the dinosaur. I also read of a project to port android to pc.
So it may be worth making the prog work with such systems...
Even an ipad/android imgburn app.
Anyway thanks for the prog and the forum and the betas...especially mmalves who's brilliant

I agree, the icons could do with updating but this whole pointy/clicky thing that copies windows which has been around since what? 95? needs to go imho.
Something along the look and functionality of the ipod/phone would be in order again imho.

Any chance of fixing it so the write speed can be changed - or lowered - once burning has started?
Or have settable or automatic default write speeds for different media, depending on what the prog detects in the drive.

Look at what itunes wants for some of its apps - even crap Firefox add ons are asking $2/3.Pesonally I like toolbars
and was gonna ask for Ask in suggestions. Any chance of any more?

Personally I couldn't disagree more - especially with the first post which seems way OTT to me. This is LUK you're talking about, fgs, not some sniveling little tosser out to make a quick buck. The whole community owes him big time, in my view, for all the years of work and effort he's put in, and he certainly deserves better than what I've read here.
I don't know his reasons for the Ask toolbar, but whever they are, I trust the bloke to do the right thing in the situation he's in.

Some of the newer standalone dvd players support avi. Read the book that came with it or burn an avi to rw to see if it plays.

Dunno - series finale seems a term imported from the State. Last in the present series is used meaning more next year, or last one ever - no more next year.
Unless...like Firefly they canceled the series, then made a movie, or Star Trek TOS then made loads of movies or Farscape where they canceled the series then made two dvd movies to end it. Now they're talking about web episodes...
Anybody think a restart button on the burning prog's a good idea or has it already got one?...
