  1. Try a different media manufacturer. IMHO the only thing CMC makes that works well are cd's.
  2. Doesn't do the evaluation of the burned disc the same way the ImgBurn does, therefore will not show errors that you see in ImgBurn.

  5. Post a logfile of the failed burn. Also, what message, if any, does ImgBurn display? What is the media MID for the discs you are using?
  6. You've covered it pretty well with your explanation of possible causes and then the correct move to overcome them. Whether you wish to believe that there is a problem with the media you have chosen or not is your choice. Memorex simply rebadges whatever media it can get in order to make it's price point, nothing else. They do not produce/manufacture or have anything else to do with the media other than order it from the one of the 3 maybe 4 media manufacturers and then resell it. Switch to Verbs or TY's and eliminate another probable cause of the problem. spinner
  7. Try posting a log for the failed burn.
  8. If you had used Google you would have found this: http://club.myce.com/f59/clone-cd-error-power-reset-bus-device-reset-occurred-46333/
  9. Try this: http://enditall.en.softonic.com/download It may be able to end whatever is causing the system to slow down. I've been using it since it came out in '02 I believe and a simple restart activates everything again.
  10. Won't work. Users burn copies of .ISO's to cd, dvd, bd or whatever they want to. To auto pick a drive would then require the user to have to choose what drive THEY wanted to use instead of what the program thinks they want to use.
  11. What steps/program did you take to make the .ISO file for burning?
  12. Exactly what do you want to do? Making a DVD usually starts with a camera and progresses from there.
  13. You're right, and neither do I. DVD+R discs WILL NOT ERASE, period. You can only write to them once. Try another disc. ALSO, post the whole log, not just a part of it.
  14. Update to 2.5.8.0. please, we do not offer support to older versions. It plays on your computer and verifies correctly so the problem is your player. Get a cleaning disc and run it, look to the makers site for a firmware update or buy a new player.
  15. I don't believe it's a bug in the program since that part of the code wasn't touched as far as I know. Maybe your drive is dirty/just slowing down a little or maybe a dirty or hard to write to disc. Your CPU is working a little harder with the second burn but the ramp up time is very similar.
  16. Good to see you back here JF13, and well stated.
  17. Look here: https://www.google.com/search?q=sofware+to+burn+at+24%2F44.1&rlz=1C1CHVO_enUS531US531&oq=sofware+to+burn+at+24%2F44.1&aqs=chrome.0.69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I didn't bother to read all about it, but the answer to your question has to be there somewhere.
