  1. Yeah Chewy, looks like they're getting screwed, but the cost is for up to 75 pounds, not broken down on a per oz/lb base like it is here...but it would take a load of jump drives to amount to 75 lbs worth.... :doh: I do see your point on the surcharge though, definitely looks like protectionism >_<

  2. For all you American Torchwood fans (if there are any!) BBC America starts showing the new series/season (2) on 26 January. BBC UK haven't announced the date here yet, so it looks like the US will be getting it at the same time as the UK. Or even before... :unsure:

    Digi;

    Torchwood isn't shown here, at least not on the North Coast...

  3. It looks for drivers that are installed re your optical drives and reports them to you. You then have the option to leave them in place or delete them. Many drivers are added by Nero, Roxio etc and are not deleted when you remove their inferior programs and install ImgBurn in their place. They sit in line and pass info from one to another and finally to the drive.....sorta like playing telephone as a kid. Data streams can become corrupted between the drivers talking to each other and the burn can result in a coaster if that occurs. :thumbup:

  4. No opinion of the two systems here for me since I have neither, however I just bought my son a Wii for his 16th birthday....we'll see how well that goes though since he's addicted to Final Fantasy online currently... >_<

    Snazz...good to see you posting again mate! :thumbup:

  5. However, it doesnt hurt to request for a IFO / FILE mode support in the future to decrypt/demux vob files from already burned discs if that isnt possible already!!!

    Not until the boys pay a visit and bop you on your snout :D

    =))...snout bopping....=))

  6. Any suggestions, other than returning my 100 blank Maxell discs and buying Sony instead?

    :yes:

    I have 2 suggestions.

    Return the Maxells and do not buy the Sony discs either, the only thing we recommend here is Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim DataLifePlus.

    Simply follow the directions and UPDATE your firmware. There shouldn't be a problem unless you have a power failure during the process or you fail to follow the really simple updating procedure.
