That log looks normal, no problems there.

It burned and verified fine, so it's out of ImgBurn's hands. Try that disc on another Wii to see if it works or maybe ask in a forum dedicated to Wii games.

Anyway, look in Tools -> Settings -> Read tab, pages 1 and 2, e.g. lowering the number of Software Retries and enabling the Ignore Read Errors option. As for deleting the incomplete ISO image, the option is Delete Incomplete Files in the Events tab: set to Yes and incomplete images will always be deleted.

Update your burner's firmware and try again. You could also try with high quality media such as Verbatim discs. Another option would be using a DVD+RW (notice it's "plus" RW) disc.

The burner process relies entirely on the burner/firmware/media combination, so those are the things you can try changing in order to get a good burn.
And that Display IFO Layerbreak option has nothing to do with being dual-layer media or not, it's for checking pressed/burned DVD-Video discs only, not blank media.

Yes, you'll have to buy a new one. Or perhaps use one on a friend's computer or something.

ImgBurn doesn't affect the burner's capability of recognizing blank discs. It could be due to low quality media, so try with Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks, and if it still does that then get a new burner because yours is developing a problem.

Maybe if you've reached a bad patch of Verbatim discs in the spindle, so try discs from another spindle if you can.
You could also try cleaning your burners with a lens cleaning disc, if you have one at hand.

At the moment there isn't a bigger writeable DVD disc in the market, maybe in the future we'll have one.

Your Pioneer burner supports that media at the above shown speeds. If 2.4x isn't working anymore, try faster speeds like 4x and 6x. Have you tried burning with your LG burner? Dual-layer media other than Verbatim is dodgy in most cases, so stick with Verbatim whenever you can.

Try IsoPuzzle or similar program.

Is it a dual layer game? e.g. ISO is bigger than 4.5gb. If it isn't then you don't need the .MDS file.

With a single layer disc in the drive, copy and paste here all the media information text (it's in the Device tab if you're in Build mode) displayed by ImgBurn.

Acronis True Image, Acronis Backup & Recovery, Paragon Backup & Recovery and more, haven't used any of them myself I don't know which one is better.
