  1. Hi there! I'm having a compatibility problem between Foobar and ImgBurn when I create a cue file. Just an example: If I have an ape file, when I create the cue file, ImgBurn writes the FILE line automatically like this: FILE "01. Song1.ape" APE Foobar does not play the cue file if is not written like this: FILE "01. Song1.ape" WAVE Is it too much asking to have the cue file automatically written as the second example shows? Thanks!
  2. hi, I'm trying to create an image of a vCD that is pretty badly scratched, the program works great retrying on error and moving on if the sector is unreadable. Only issue is that at some point it hangs! Here my question: can I restart the process from where it has been interrupted? That would be simply wonderful, thank you very much, srcmnk
  3. Could you make the “Destination” format on the GUI look the same as the “Source” format on the GUI. It would be nice to just look and see what folder the ISO will be stored in, rather than having to click on the Destination button. Thanks Ziltch P.S. It’s the beginning of summer here in Canada and the grass is green.
  4. I have Windows 7 along with several other applications in a folder (about 4 GBs)that I would like to put into a bootable DVD. Can someone please give me directions to create a bootable DVD that will automatically boot to the Windows 7 setup (or boot so that I can run Win 7 setup manually) ? Once Windows is installed, I can then access the DVD and install the other applications. Thanks.

    Create BR image

Hello, I have a software here need to test. One of the functions requires a Blu-Ray image...and i dont own a blu-ray drive. Is there any way i can convert a pre-exisitng dvd/dvd-iso/movie file to a BR image? Or does anyone know of a really small BR image i could download? thanks,
  6. I have many .mts files that I have saved onto my PC hard disk from a Canon HFS100 HD video camera. I would like to create a BLU-RAY video disk (not a Blu-Ray data disk) from these files. How do I do this using imgburn? I assume that I must use the function to create an image from files, but I am not sure of what settings should be used. My PC has a blu-ray burner and I have blank blu-ray disks. Thanks.
  7. Hello Just loaned to a friend a rare Live DVD and ooops, received it back scratched and poorly readable. When backing up my valuable DVD's - how could I get a log of read - creating ISO process - including DVD properties (obtained from all around the world..), enabled IB switches and etc. Which would help me to troubleshoot later problems, when I once find that something is wrong with my copy. For making copy I suggest that: 1. read mode with ISO output suites best 2. followed by write. By default ImgBurn log file content is just a burning info and I couldn't find any log option settings to log DVD properties, DVD read and ISO creating. Thanks!
  8. Hello, what is a DVD File, which can be created by selecting in the Menu: "Tools" -> "Create DVD File..." This generates me a file with the extension .dvd, but what is the sense of this file? It contains just the filename? Is this kind of file (I mean the *.dvd file) an "official" standard like the cue sheets for CDs? btw: Are theese Cue sheets only valid for CDs? If I create a cue sheet for a dvd I got the warning/error see: http://www.failure.bravehost.com/imgburn/files/ Thomas

  10. How do I create an audio CD (.cda files) from mpegs (.mp3) files on my computer? I can see how to create a CD with .mp3 files on it, but I want one I can play in a standard CD player. Thanks for any help.
  11. I'm running ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 and I can't get it to save Title and Performer as CD Text at the Disk level. I enter the information and everything looks good until I save the CUE file and/or burn an audio CD. If I browse to the CUE file I just created and open it... the disk CD Text information I just entered is gone. If I burn a CD none of the CD Text information is displayed in Windows Media Player. I'm just getting started with ImgBurn and I thought this feature was working at one time... but it's not now. I've reset defaults. I've reinstalled the program. I must be missing something simple and I hate to bother everyone... but I've fought this for hours. Help, please?
  12. Hello, I would like to create just one single iso image than can be larger than 4.7 GB - no splitting necesary. Is it possible? The reasoning is I want to backup my DL DVDs on an external HDD and do not want to use DVD Shrink to create a smaller footprint. Any advice appreciated. Thank you, Paul
  13. Hi I am Raghu Ram I am new to this forum. Could anybody please tell me How to create an Appendable disc using ImageBurn 2.4.4.0 ?? Waiting for Reply.... Thanx in advance
  14. I downloaded from Microsft the software to install Windows Server 2003, 64-bit. It is an .exe file. I ran it, it unzipped to a directory structure. I didn't see any instructions on creating a bootable CD from the image that I saw, for 64-bit Windows Server. I tried the Vista/Windows 7 instructions and I tried the XP instrctions, both failed. It is looking for NTLDR on boot, and I don't see that file. I have been trying to search on various combinations of the words "make bootable windows server 2003 64-bit" in the search box and nothign relevant has been returned. I have really tried using the guides and other online help. If I am just missing somethgin, can you point me at it? Many thanks.
  15. Well I search on the forum to find an answer but no luck that will tell me how to create a bootable ISO file using imageburn 2.5.0. Really need help in configuring imageburn to burn me boot disk.
  16. I choose Create image file from files/folders to make an image from my dvd-files. Then this is shown. Which is the best choice here?
  17. Hello, I am having a problem I have not run into before on my newly built computer. I cannot seem to get over 2.0x average read speed while creating and image from my disc. All my discs are unencrypted home video type discs and I have not had the problem on my old computer so I am guess it is my setup somehow. My new computer is actually quite fast with a SATA HDD and SATA DVD-RW which is my first SATA computer. I checked DMA and the HDD is DMA6 and DVD drive is DMA5 so I do not believe that is the problem. Writing speed is normal at whatever speed I set it so it is just reading / creating image. This is also my first computer runing Win7 x64 so wondering if that has something to do with it although the program runs great other that the slow image create. I tried a couple of different things and setting the Read to Max then 8X but it is always the same result of about 2.0x. I am sure I am doing something wrong but cannot seem to figure it out. Any help appreciated.

  21. Hello, I would like create ISO images with command lines only? Example: Add Files to ISO Add Folders to ISO Create ISO Image to hard disc Can everybody help me?
  22. Hi all. This is my first post here, so please be gentle. I am currently hvaing issues (I think) creating ISO's of my Blu Rays. I am ripping the discs to my hard drive (main movie only) with AnydvdHD -- Clown BD -- eac3to -- tsmuxer -- imgburn It takes me about 25 minutes to get all the way through the tsmuxer process on 19GB, which seems resonable for my setup. But, when Imgburn takes those files to create an ISO, it takes 90 minutes. My write speed while running Imgburn says .8x . Any idea what the problem might be ? Below is my setup in case it helps: Windows XP SP 3 Pemtium Core 2 Duo E5300 2 GB ram Plextor external Blu ray drive Hitachi 32mb cache 7200RPM 2TB hard drive
  23. I get this immediately after clicking for img to ''read.'' I don't get this all the time, but pretty much half the time. I'm always god about deleting files after I'm done writing them and I empty my recycle bin. When I click to continue anyway, immediately I get ''Cannot create or replace image.iso: There is not enough free disk space.'' It says that 8,795,690,371,072 is required but I've only got 152,586,178,560 bytes remaining. I'm pretty sure I've got way more space than this available. I do have Norton on my computer (I looked in FAQ's and this seemed to be the closest thing to any of the listed FAQ's) though I don't use it and cannot locate a Norton recycle bin. 24. I just got Imgburn for the first time and am trying to make an audio CD out of 8 mp3 files. I ran Create CUE File and found my files. I selected all eight. When I tried to proceed it was stuck on 36% for at least 15 minutes. I wasn't sure what to do so I started again and it immediately went to that same dialog box where it said 36%. Is it supposed to take that long or could something be wrong? The total size of the tracks is only 29 minutes. Thanks
  25. Used ImgBurn to create the ISO file & layer switch point was set at that time; now when I try to burn it errors with "Cannot set the layer break position when burning DVD-R DL media. Do I want to continue?" I don't get it. I set the layer break when creating the ISO with ImgBurn so why would it ask me this? What happens if I say Yes? BTW - I have created DVD+R DL with my editing software but DVD+R DL will not play properly on my blu-ray player & that's why I'm working with DVD-R DL.
