awoodhall2003 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I have tried backing up a 360 game, it seemed to write fine but then on verification it had read errors. I am using verbatims on a Optiarc AD-7170S Drive it was on 1.0 firmware, but just retrying the burn as ive just updated it to 1.3. LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 You don't need to use the slowest speed to get the best quality. Some drives will actually create a better quality burn at one of the faster available speeds... it all depends on how their firmware has been tweaked.

mmalves Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 All current Pioneer burners seem good. Since your drive is a SATA model then maybe you should get a Pioneer 215/216/217 (11x models are IDE interface and 21x are SATA interface)
