eSkRo Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) dont use DVD43 at the same time,,,, DVD43 can interfere with ImgBurn's ability to verify accurately... chances are that you have DMA issues. I tried uninstalling and then restarting, but I get a message saying that windows can't find/install the drivers for my burners. Where would I go for that? I know about firmware but not drivers. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 You don't need drivers for your drives. Have the controllers gone back in ok if you look in Device manager? What chipset is your board running and which chipset are your drives connected to (if not the main one) ?

When I click on my burners in device manager it tells me it can't load them, that they may be corrupt or missing (code 39). I burned some discs earlier. Idk what happened. I can't find where to go to find what chipset the drives are connected to? Is there a setting somewhere in device manager other than clicking on the drive's properties?

The issue could be down to a bad filter driver or something blocking them from working properly. Care to post the list? (look in the Tools menu). You can get the latest intel chipset drivers from here: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/inf/ and the intel matrix driver from here - although I'm not sure if it'll install on your pc. http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/

I don't mind doing a clean install, but I really didn't feel like it. Thnx. Lightning. I'll just stick to the new usual suspects for my backup/copying endeavors. Any issues I'll just post back.
