dbminter Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Something I've seen before with many different drives and types of DVD-RW discs is if you cancel a write after only writing a little bit of data, ImgBurn stays at 99% Synchronizing Cache for a really long time. Has anyone else noticed this and, if so, anyone know why it does this when only a little bit of data is written to the disc? Thanks!

You should know better Once a track has been reserved (as is the case for DVD-R and DVD-RW), if you cancel the burn early the drive will often end up zero-filling the area it didn't finish burning to when that command is issued to it. So basically, it's pointless to cancel it!
