Disc id : 0@P-!-00 What means?

I've buyed Verbatim DVD-R 16x, media type is MCC03RG20 and Disc id : 0@P-!-00 .

 

What is "Disc id" ? What means "0@P-!-00" ?

The Disc ID field only seems to be used on DVD+R media. For DVD-R, it's either blank or returns that random stuff you're seeing.

I realize this is an old thread, but I too have inserted a disc that ImgBurn has recognized as ( Disc id : 0@P-!-00 )

 

However DVDInfoPro & CDSpeed sees it's Media code/Manufacturer ID as (SONY16D1).

 

Anyway I though it might help the next guy in finding out what it is he is looking for if I posted the info below.
