Persian boy
Hi all, I am a new user and found this software useful... Here is my suggestion: In my opinion if ImgBurn can develop a "virtual image drive" which can install on Window XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7 all of equipments what you need for burning a disk will completed... Just something like "Virtual clone drive" or "Nero Image drive" Nero doesn't support Image drive for Windows Vista and Windows 7, I don't know why?! But Slysoft supports mentioned operating systems very well... Virtual clone drive developed by "Slysoft" http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html Nero Image drive developed by Nero corporation: http://www.nero.com Please share you opinion Thanks
mmalves
Why would LUK want to do that when there are plenty of solutions? e.g. Daemon Tools, Alcohol 52%, Virtual CloneDrive as you mentioned, etc, all of them freeware.
Persian boy
Why would LUK want to do that when there are plenty of solutions? e.g. Daemon Tools, Alcohol 52%, Virtual CloneDrive as you mentioned, etc, all of them freeware. There are some reasons to develop a virtual clone drive by ImgBurn team As I've already said here, Nero doesn't support its own "Image drive" so there are a plenty Nero image files (*.nrg format) which users can't use them anymore, so if ImgBurn can develop a converter for this format it can be useful for a lot of user around the world. Also some other image formats like Alcohol images, etc. If ImgBurn develop a converter and then a virtual image drive in one package, ImgBurn will have a complete package for Writing tools. In this situation nobody use other writing tools.... As I know there are some converters for (*.daa) files but there is no "full package converter" OR "full package virtual drive" to support all formats or at least convert them to ISO format.... So ImgBurn can develop a "converter AND a virtual image drive" to support and convert all writing tools....

AlienX69
Or try DVDFab Virtual Drive It has a very small footprint, memory usage is only 2,452 K DVDFab Virtual Drive is a virtual DVD/Blu-ray emulator. It emulates maximum 18 drives and works with DVD/Blu-ray images. FYI: The ISO's are easily mounted via the Right-Click context menu in a WinDoz Explorer window.
