i got this message after the copy i made was installed ( please insert the original disc not a bqackup copy ) is this because the program copied the image as a mds instead of an iso file? and if so how do i make the necassry chages to prevent this from happening again so i can copy my pc games and play them

Nope, the problem is that you've got WinRAR associated with ISO files.

Go into the WinRAR options and turn off that file association.

You should enable file extensions within Explorer too, then you can truely see what you're working with an won't have to rely on the pretty icons.
