(I was unable to post a reply in that thread - being new, maybe I don't have full posting rights yet) I am wondering what difference it makes to the resulting DVD if you move the MDS file and burn without it, as mmalves has suggested here? It depends on the image as to whether that's a problem or not, each one is different. If the MDS file is there, it should (and will) be used. My problem was that I was getting an error message with the MDS file there, and when I found the post I quoted and moved the MDS while burning, it worked okay... and seems to have placed the layer break okay by itself (so far!) The error was of the nature that it seemed to be looking for a file within the ISO file and saying it couldn't find it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hmmm... so, it only looks as if it is seeking a file within the ISO file? I am still unsure why it would look for a file with a different name.
