That's it, nothing more, nothing less. The 'scan for outdated drivers' one is actually very valid as we frequently tell people to do that anyway.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Ok, I've got a plan. They were put there with the intention of them being useful - especially the driver scanner one. I'm in the process of rebuilding the setup exe and that one will have the option to create said desktop shortcuts turned OFF by default. Then, when the program loads it'll check to see if they were *enabled* during installation and *only* if they were will it display the options in the tools menu. Case closed (I hope).
