mmalves Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Please describe what you want to do (what kind of media you're using/etc).
burnoptic Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 i insert a blank dvd+rw and try to burn some file to it.
mmalves Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 It seems your burner doesn't support that DVD+RW disc. What does ImgBurn show in the status bar? Something similar to "Medium Not Present (Reason)".
Cynthia Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Can you switch to read mode and post the info in the right window under Disc Information? (just copy and paste it)
mmalves Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Your burner doesn't recognise that disc, so you'll need to try with other discs until you find one that gets recognised and becomes usable.
burnoptic Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 In the Read Mode the right window is the same as before. i try many disc and the result is the same.
eSkRo Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) Go in Write MODE then go here (click on image to see) Post a screenshot of what u see,,,, Edited March 30, 2010 by eSkRo
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 eSkRo, We already know what that drive can do! burnoptic, It's as mmalves said in post 7, you'll need to use a totally different disc, your drive doesn't like that one.
burnoptic Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 how you know what disc my drive support? are you saying my driver does not like this brand? all the disc i tested are from the same package.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 How do I know... erm well because this is what I do and I've been doing it for years! You have a common drive and I know what types of disc it supports. Yes we're saying your drive doesn't like the discs you purchased. Double check it can see original/pressed/silver CD-ROM, DVD-ROM discs (to make sure it's not totally broken) before then thinking about buying some more DVD-R or DVD+R. When you do buy some, get either Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden - they're the best.
burnoptic Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 it does not recognize those disc. status bar "Device Not Ready(Medium Not Present)"
