eSkRo Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) hi LUK! Upon receiving a warning saying --> Directory Depth Exceeded for ISO9006 i thought i would be a cool idea if ImgBurn would then ASK me to adjust the settings so that the burning of my compilation can occur!! cuz i dont know if answering YES to that Warning would make me burn the data to disc correclty... i dunno,,, WhaT do you SaY? LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 The only adjustment you could make is to make a plain UDF disc. Clicking 'Yes' should be fine, I just have to warn about it because it breaks the original ISO9660 specs.
eSkRo Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 Ok i get it thanks,,, its just that the warning made me freak out as if the disc wouldn't work at all if i answer YES to continue... but, then would there be a way make ImgBurn ASK/Suggest the user to create a plain UDF disc when Directory Depth for ISO9006 is Exceeded?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 It's not worth it, 8 levels is low and the OS can handle more than that. In any case, if any other file system is also being used then there's no issue - because that'll be read and not the ISO9660 one. and if no other file system is being used then it's probably like that on purpose. So thanks for your suggestion but I'm happy with how it works at the moment. p.s. if there was no chance in the disc working with more than 8 directory levels, I wouldn't have given you the 'Yes' option in the first place
eSkRo Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) your right, its just that the warning made me freak out as if the disc wouldn't work at all if i answer YES to continue... Maybe we can tweak the warning a little then? thx Edited April 2, 2010 by eSkRo
