settlinger Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 I am a real novice. I had Image burn on my old computer and it worked fine. My husband got me a new computer and installed Image burn. I have important disks to burn and he's on the golf course! I get a message "No Writers Detected!" Here is the log I 08:11:33 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! eSkRo Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Right-Click on 'MY COMPUTER' select 'PROPERTIES' click on the 'HARDWARE' tab then click on 'Device Manager' what do you see under 'DVD/CD-Rom Drives'? My new machine came with a DVD reader and it was supposed to come with a DVD reader and writer. I have contacted the company that sold me the computer and they are going to send me the correct part.
