settlinger Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I am a real novice. I had Image burn on my old computer and it worked fine. My husband got me a new computer and installed Image burn. I have important disks to burn and he's on the golf course! I get a message "No Writers Detected!" Here is the log I 08:11:33 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Can you see 2 physical optical drives in the machine? Otherwise, the one you've got there is just a DVD reader, it can't burn anything.

Thanks I checked it out and you are correct. My new machine came with a DVD reader and it was supposed to come with a DVD reader and writer. I have contacted the company that sold me the computer and they are going to send me the correct part.
