Hi guys its my first time out here on this forum, i hope you guys can tackle a problem i am having. Basically i am getting an error in image burn and i have already wasted 2 dual layer discs. i am backing up my xbox 360 games onto a spare cd. I have done this earlier today with one game and it tested perfect, but when i do the same thing for another game it comes up with an error. I disregarded the first error and popped in another disc and threw the other one out. Now the second one also screwed up and it stopped the burn at 32%. here is a link showing a picture of the error please do help me. THAANKKS A LOOOT

Your burner doesn't support the blanks you're using. You could try with the Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL blanks, as per LUK's link posted above, or you'll need to get a new burner that supports the blanks you have.

On another note, you should install SP2 for you Vista OS.

i have perfectly burned a game before at 2.4x

how did u find out that it wouldnt support it ??

Those blanks are rated for 8x burning and your drive only supports burning them at 2.4x, which is usually a sign of very poor support (it's probably using a generic write strategy). The one(s) you've burned before might've been good enough but not great burn quality.

but i am using the same disk type from the same spindle, its fujifilm dvd+r DL and it says 8x on it. Before you guys go blaming the media, i have burned a game before at 2.4x and it works flawless. Anyways what is the best external usb burner for xbox 360 games ?
