Strange problem freeze at leadin

Hello all,

I got a problem I just cant solve..

U guys (and girls if they do burn) are my last hope.

I cant post a log and yes I use Verbs!

The problem is: my imgburn stops at writing leadin it just stays there the timers continue to count but it does nothing.

Only thing i can do is reboot because i cannot open the drive.

The weird thing is: I have burned like 10 copies allready, but the only way to do that is first burn a cd in mediaplayer and then imgburn works.

If I reboot my pc, imgburn does the same thing all over again and I have to burn a cd in mediaplayer again...

Help please:D

I wont go over 4x, thats impossible for me since xbox games cannot be burned higher then 4x

Says who? That was ages ago, but is not the case now with modern drives that are well tuned to burn at high speeds.

Go on, take your chance and try 8x. You are using 8x media after all.

Try the drive in another PC with that same media.

If it's ok, it's probably driver related.

What motherboard/chipset do you have?

Drivers, that's what I tought.

i have a screen made of my drivers for the pioneer maybe that helps.

and I have a pavillion t3610 mediacenter pc.
